Random thoughts on a friday afternoon

A girl whom I met outside our building said that she thinks I am a successful person in life cos I worked at XYZ once upon a time ! Couldnt help but wonder if its absolutely necessary for a woman to work to be labelled as successful...Are stay at home moms any less ? I think they do much more work and have lots and lots of patience than the working bunch ;-)

The number of vacant engineering seats in Tamilnadu is close to 31000..Wow, good to see the engineering craze declining..When I finished my plus two, I wanted to do Computer Engineering..But fate made me do Electrical and Electronics which I disliked as much as I could...

Kavya is now repeating whatever I say..One day I said 'Thaaye' (Tamil for Mother')..She kept repeating it so many times that day...Have to be careful with what I say in front of her..She has now learnt to play peekaboo with words..She will hide and say 'kaaaooooooo' (Read Kaanum )

And then she will appear and say 'Taakkku' (Read taachu)..Its so very cute to see her proud expression when she appears from her hiding spot and says taakkku..even though we can see one of her eyes peeping from that spot :0)

One course in MBA requires us to watch three movies and write the similarity between the plots of the three movies as a homework..Isnt that cool to watch movies for studying purposes...!!!! Only I wish the movies were interesting enough !
