Saravanaaaaa

God knows what made me watch this movie in the unusual hours of night when I should have been actually happily enjoying my dreams. I watched this movie just for my favourite..No no...not that korangu...I watched this movie for Jo...I have become a fan of hers since I saw her in Kaaka Kaaka..She was brilliant and she was good in Chandramukhi too..Then I watched Kushi and I could actually bear her screaming and her wierd mannerisms on screen. Then I watched few more of Jo and I became her fan..Ok ok..thats not what I wanted to write about..Nevertheless..I started watching this movie at aroung 11PM...There was Vivek too in this movie and thats one more reason why I chose to see this one...

Somehow I cannot tolerate the way Simbu's name is being shown with all that Little Superstar stamp...It seems so very funny..Who is he to call himself little Superstar..He is Little (Literally)...accepted..But he is no superstar..Just because he ghost-directed one movie and it became a hit doesnt mean he can carry of films like Superstar does..antha podi payal,puyal maadhiri yellarayum adipaanaam..idhu elaam overaa therille...The way he talks,walks,smiles..everything is so very artificial..I felt he is copying SJ Surya..SJS himself is one copy...Copya Copy adikaraan intha kurangu payan...

Heights of comedy....The girls in college look out for Saravana...Then one kutti korangu comes in an ottai bike and the girls go wowwww...My god...Wats so Wow about a lil kurangu..Half the girls who say wow are taller than him...Then face closeuple vera showings, thaanga mudille..Its the same Simbu....NOWAYYYYYYYYY....ivalo torture pannirukke venaam..One of my friends felt that Simbu is copying Loose Mohan..hahahaha....Watever it is,the korangu payan always copies stuff...Punch dialogues, yes,like Vikram says Majaa even when he cries in Majaa and irritates us.here Simbu has his own..sam sam sam sam sam sam samharam panniduven...(poda thikku vaai payale)..Idhukku oru BGM buildup vera....If that Villan has some brains, he could have easily made a samosa out of Simbu !!!!

The chemistry between Simbu and Jo isnt all that great..These two should stop acting together. And censor board should take care and cut scenes that show Simbu in closeup...Adhe paathuttu silla peru pei aranjaa maadhiri agitaangalaam...he is that ugly and scary with that moustache...We cant watch him hitting the big villians and they flying in air...I know cinema is not real, but it neednt be so much reel..None of the songs stayed in my mind...I dunno why the hell Meghna Naidu is there in the movie..Just for some Free Showand that item number !

And Vivek...Well he comes for 4 scenes and advices thaai kulam and then disappears...Why are everyone obsessed with advicing thaai kulam is a thing I dont understand..Nagesh too is wasted in the movie, making him utter dialogues that have been censored..There is one scene in the movie where Nagesh and Simbu talk something which has been censored..and the conversation happens for around a minute...

On the whole, dont watch Saravana..chances are that you will end up with bad dreams...And you will have to go to the actual Saravanan in Vadapalani Temple to rescue you..
