The first homework !

Kavya finished her first homework in her life a few days back and it was homework time for amma too after a gap of nearly 10 years..Must say it was a great combination..Kavya was supposed to join the dots making a wave and repeat that action for 10 times..Naturally she being just 2.5, amma needed to hold her hand..Kavya did it twice and then became bored and started crying..She wouldnt even look at the book afterwards..Somehow amma convinced her, rather scared her with all the mean things and made her do her homework..But later realised that this is not the way..So the next time Kavya came with her homework, amma patiently explained how things need to be done and how the teacher will clap if she does a neat job..Kavya is better at doing her homeworks now and even insists that she be given homework everyday !!! And the school sends homework to the amma also..Like stick picture of dried flowers, clock, pongal festival etc etc..Poor amma, now realises that school for the baby implies school for the parents toooo !!!!!!
