At 28 months

Kavya eats her cream biscuit and as always, her hands are full of cream from the biscuit..She comes to amma and says Amma Hand wasss panikalaam vaaaaaa

Its a struggle putting Kavya to sleep these days..Everytime amma asks Kavya thoonga polaama, she says venaa venaa venaa venaaa venaa thoonga venaaaaaaa

When she's happy she keeps singing loudly - the lyrics.. are all the objects in front of her eyes..If amma intervens and asks her to say something meaningful like ABC song, Kavya lets out a louuuudd shriek which makes amma shut..She doesn't want amma to intervene maybe because she will then forget her non meaningful song..

Kavya has now picked up a habit of pinching her amma, appa, thatha and paati..She makes an action like that of the claws of a scorpion, says killu killu, comes running and pinnches whoever the unlucky one is..One day as amma and Kavya were in the temple, she ran behind an old man, with her scorpion claw action shouting killu killu..Amma closed her eyes and prayed for the old man's safety !!! And he was saved :-)

Afternoon - Kavya sits on her amma's lap while paati is busy applying marudhani to the little fingers making circles all over her palm !! Amma keeps telling Kavya 'Straightaa Vechukko Kavya'..Kavya obeys and keeps her fingers straight !!!!

Night - Paati is busy applying marudhani on amma's hands...Kavya looks at it and after a few minutes, shouts 'Seittaa vechko amma'..Amma and paati burst into laughter !!!

These days, she has taken to telling stories..Her stories are like this

Oru ooorle oru kaaka inthuthaa..antha kaakaneee meeeela panthu pochaan..kaaka light..no touch..kaaka kastamaaa..kaaka jollyaaa inthuthaaaammm..Yaaaay (claps)

At the temple, a group of people say slokams everyday..A few from the group came home for navrathri..As soon as Kavya saw them, she sings Hare raama Hare Raama Raama Raama Hare Hare...Everyone was stunned..:)

She starts talking from the moment she wakes up and doesnt stop until she falls asleep..An exciting time to hear her use new words everyday....!!!
