Niiyaaaa

Yesterday we were reading Thumper's Summer Day...She was watching closely at the pictures in the book and suddenly shouted Niiiiyaaaaa Niiiiyaaaaa...I couldn't make out what she was saying...so I asked her and she repeated Niiiyaaa and pointed to the Sun..And then it made sense..She was saying Nila (for moon)...She was soo excited that she turned the pages of that book atleast 10 times, pointing to the sun and saying Niiyaa...I said Kavya ,thats Sooriyan, not Nila..But she insists that it is Niiiyaaaa.. :-)

Today she helped me clean up before naptime by picking all the books lying in the room..She was soo proud to have cleaned up and gave me a sweet smile when I said Good job, Kavya !
