The beginning of the end of silence.

Kavya's pidivaathams have increased so much over the past week..She is usually a doll when we take her to shopping, waving hi to every stranger , smiling at everyone and content with watching us fill the cart with the vegetables and fruits..Today she wanted to do more..she wanted to touch all the vegetables in the shop and not only that, she wanted to put them in her mouth too...When I took the horse radish from her hand, she gave a ear splitting cry..so loud that I just wanted to run away from that place...But she calmed down after a minute when I gave her a potato..she was happily admiring the potato when we were done with the shopping and had to bill the potato..so I gave her a fruit&nut bar as substitute..she looked at it for sometime..realised that its not the potato..threw it and started crying...she was trying to lie down in that small place in the cart and cry...But she calmed down when I rocked her in my arms for sometime..She is becoming adamant at the same time she calms down by herself..This is just the start I would think..

One day she was looking in the mirror and shouting guuuudaaadaaa..I am still figuring out what that meant...Also, she has been practicing her ear splitting shrieks many times in the day so that she can put them to good use when the time arrives !

And Kavya wants her amma to make her sleep all the time..she won't sleep if her appa makes her sleep..won't eat if appa feeds her at dinner...but all the other time, she is happy in appa's company following him like a tail everywhere he goes...:-)
