O Saya !!!

I have always been a fan of ARR since I heard Roja...There used to be a time when me and my bro will listen to any song composed by him...I remember when the music of DilSe was released, we got the cassette (those days no cds!!) and played it on full volume in our house..ofcourse when amma and appa werent at home..God knows what the neighbours would have thought, but thankfully noone complained..;-) 

Now as I listen to the tracks from SlumDog Millionaire with K, I cant help but remember those days...K wants the song O Saya played in repeat until she finishes her lunch/dinner....guess she loves the music of the train that comes in the beginning !!!!! I have listened to it atleast 20 times since yest night....the song has become one of my favs..as always with ARR music, it grows on u ....

Currently I am humming 'You are my sunshine' song from that album....love the melody..K also likes Masakali and Aditi song..but her fav song for dancing is rambambam from Micheal Madana Kamarajan..she dances with so much concentration, its funny to watch her do that..

Anyways, coming back to ARR, I read somewhere that the Jai Ho song was originally composed for some movie called Yuvraj for Zayed Khan and then they decided that it wasnt peppy enough for him..Thank God, it would have been wasted on him, now it has earned the Oscar for my fav music director of all times !
