Finding Neverland

I missed this movie when it was released. Thanks to the crowd at Bangalore for not letting me watch this movie at the PVR Cinemas. I finally got a chance to watch this one this weekend.

As every review has it, this movie is a magical tale about one of the world's greatest play writers, JM Barrie and his inspiration for his masterwork, 'Peter Pan'.Sure, the movie is magical..the beautiful locales of London and the creative stages for the drama, its a visual treat ! The movie begins with the latest play of JM Barrie turning out to be a dissterous flop and his career at crossroads. Then he meets this lady at the park along with her four sons. These children become the inspiration for Barrie to conceive his masterpiece play about Peterpan and his adventures. And in the process, we also get to see what and where Neverland is ! And let me tell you, the way to find Neverland is hard and you will know why when you see the movie.

Johnny Depp plays JM Barrie..remember this one - the guy who plays the Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) . He has done the job neat as a passionate playwriter who believes that If you beleive, nothing is impossible. Kate Winslet plays the widow-mother of four really naughty sons.She really looks watever the character has to look like. The screenplay is good and you dont even realise that you sat through a 1hr and 40 minute movie. The final few scenes are very emotional and is sure to touch a chord in your heart.

Neverland is pretty and beautiful only if you have a very good imagination to see it through...Remember to believe in Fairies and pirates before you watch the movie..If you don't believe in them, you may start believing after you watch this movie :-)
